Muhurtaz Event & Wedding Company was founded in the year 2009 by Gouratish Kashyap, The CEO and Founder of Muhurtaz, with the vision to spread Happiness by planning Joyous Events.

Ever since then, We haven’t looked back. We Initially Started as a Business Consultant but with time successfully managed to build a network and handle big Social, Corporate, and Laser Event projects and have come a long way now.


Since 2016, Muhurtaz Academy is an Event Management & Wedding Planning Institute offering comprehensive education in the form of  E-Learning Programs, Short Courses & Training, workshops, and much more for Beginners to Professionals to Experts.

Vision of Mentor

The Brand name Muhurtaz is not just a name, it is so much more. The name has been derived from an ancient word, Shubha Muhurtham, which means an auspicious time for doing good things in the family, like events, weddings, family functions, business startups, etc

I’m Gouratish Kashyap, the CEO & Founder Of Muhurtaz, Career Counsellor, Mentor, PR & Event Consultant & Wedding Expert. I have been working in the event management &  wedding planning industry for more than 10 years now. I initially started as an event business management, and marketing consultant and did many freelancing projects. Later In 2009, I started working as an event planner keeping in mind my passions and interests in creative and artistic fields like planning, designing, conceptualizing, and creating new things out of limited resources. While pursuing an MBA, I actively indulged in big projects like fashion shows, concerts, etc.  which came out to be big hits but some turned into failures too, but every failure taught me a lesson & helped me to grow & nurture my skills. In 2016, I established Muhurtaz Event and Wedding Company with a vision to provide premium  & affordable services based on the client’s requirements.

However, while understanding the industry, I realized that it lacked skills and proficiency, despite having so many talented, creative, and hardworking people in the society. Hence, I decided to share my practical knowledge and wisdom by providing Certified Courses, Training, and bring out more number of skilled and professional event planners in the industry. With this thought, I started with Muhurtaz Event and Management Academy, with a vision to teach each and every student in such a way that they can excel in any field they choose for themselves at a very reasonable cost. Now, I aim to constantly work hard to cover all aspects of services in the Events Industry and keep moving forward to serve our purposes to society. 

My mission is to Grow the Opportunities in the Events Industry for those who want to start their career or grow their business in such a Dynamic & Creative Industry.
